  • ​Morning: Visit Pashupatinath Temple and Budhanilkantha (Sleeping Vishnu).
  • ​Afternoon: Final packing and document processing (Tibet Visa/Permit).
  • ​Stay: Kathmandu (Night 2)
  • ​Activity: Drive through the scenic hills of Nepal to Syabrubesi. The road is winding and can be bumpy.

  • ​Stay: Syabrubesi (Night 3)
  • ​Activity: Drive to the Rasuwagadhi (Nepal-China Border). Complete immigration formalities on both sides. Cross the friendship bridge and meet your Tibetan guide.

  • ​Stay: Kyirong Town (Night 4)
  • ​Activity: A mandatory rest day to help the body adjust to the high altitude. Short hikes are recommended.

  • ​Activity: Drive across the vast Tibetan Plateau. Cross the Brahmaputra River and enjoy views of Mt. Shishapangma.

  • ​Activity: A long but breathtaking drive. You will get your first darshan of Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar today.

  • Morning: Spend time at the lake. Many pilgrims perform Havan here.

  • ​Activity: A short 2-3 hour walk to the end point where the vehicle waits. Drive back to Saga.

  • ​Activity: Retrace the route back to Kyirong, enjoying the final views of the Tibetan landscape.

  • ​Activity: Cross the border back into Nepal. Long drive back to Kathmandu.
